I was initialy very influenced by the dutch graphic artist M.C.Escher and his imaginative way of thinking. I combined this approach with my love of nature which is often represented through graphic tesselation or patterns, these in turn create their own imaginative landscapes that they exist within.
I combine different dimensions or perspectives in the images and I like these to work together to create a final bigger picture. I am currently at a stage where I am attempting to bring in subliminal ideas to the work through lettering to further emphasise my interest in perception.
